About Its Origin:
This bean is cultivated in the Guji zone in Ethiopia and are hand-picked straight from the tree. This allows for a selective selection of only the highest quality coffee beans. The beans are grown under the shades of a large forest canopy to develop a slow, yet powerful flavor profile.
After hand-sorting to remove any unripe, overripe, or damaged fruit, the coffee is laid to dry in direct sunlight on raised beds. The coffee stays in tact with its cherry coating to allow flavors to penetrate into the green beans.
